Hi, I’m Joshua Tackitt—an experienced HR professional and business consultant with over a decade of hands-on experience supporting teams, solving people challenges, and building better workplaces.

My career has taken me from leading HR operations at a world-renowned research center to consulting with city governments and nonprofits across Central Florida. I’ve managed HR teams, modernized systems, streamlined hiring processes, guided organizations through culture shifts, and helped leaders tackle everything from compliance concerns to employee engagement.

Currently, I provide HR consulting services on retainer and project basis—helping organizations design better policies, resolve workplace conflict, and create sustainable growth through smart recruitment, retention, and succession planning.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, a Bachelor’s in Business Management, and I’m SHRM-SCP certified. My approach is people-first, strategy-driven, and grounded in empathy—with a knack for bringing calm to the chaos and clarity to complex situations.
